• You can track the links in your autoresponder (this is no brainer, you can track which links that get the most clicks)
• You can manually add subscribers
• You can have the full stats of your list – open rate, remove rate etc. which allows you to work on a better email subject.
• You can add the form in your website or any of your Web 2.0 property without knowing complicated HTML

Okay, I’ve never promoted anything without trying it myself and I basically don’t make my living online in the IM niche. Hence, I wish to make known to you something very important..

Now, if your business model evolves around an autoresponder (eg. if you have similar business model like Affiliate Money Machine etc.), then your list is the lifeblood of your business. Hence, the last thing you want is to build a list and then lose it.

I am not a skeptic but being a business owner, here’s something we must be aware of.  What on earth would a man offer this for free if it’s not for charity?

"How are they going to remain in business? What're their income sources?"

Now these are important questions that we need to know. It’s also the reason why all those lifetime hosting that offers unlimited space and bandwidth for a one time fee failed. There’s no free lunch!

It will be disastrous to have your list of 10,000 subscribers suddenly gone if they were out of business right?

And what’s more confusing is that, the guy behind Listwire (Gary Ambrose) also owns a paid autoresponder service. If this free autoresponder is that good, then he will be losing all his customer in EmailAces. Don’t it makes sense?

Well, nobody knows but Gary has given his informal assurance in forums…

But that’s not enough. We need some facts to back up. So, I have dug deeper to find out. Here are some of the limitations I found with ListWire so far that at least satisfied some of my reasonings that Listwire is legitimate.

• You can only set up to 12 autoresponders lists
• You can only have up to 10,000 subscribers per autoresponder list

But Gary says it’s not a hard limit which means, the system won’t stop adding your subscribers after you’ve reached the limit..

Still thinks 10,000 is not enough? Do your math, 12 lists x 10,000 = 120,000 subscribers! And have a look at other free services:

• You can only add a maximum of 10 subscribers manually per day
• There’s an ad on all links you created with the inbuilt link tracker

This ad operates on a credit system and probably these are some of the monetization that Gary uses. Perhaps, this at least make some sense that Listwire will last for long.

And there’s an affiliate program offered by ListWire. Perhaps, they will offer option to upgrade later to remove above limitations. Who knows? And this again make more sense to me that they will be in business for long.
